SELLING? THREE TIPS TO PREPARE

If you are in the market planning to put your home on the market, then consider THREE things that could help.

NO 1 REPAIRS
If there are things you knew needed repair but kept postponing, then now is a time to repair them. For example, it could be water dripping at the faucet, commode, faulty switch, garage door remote not operable, blinds on opening/closing, etc.

NO 2 MINOR HOME IMPROVEMENT
If there are things you knew you needed to upgrade but did not find the time, then now is the time to do it. For example, it could be a room with darker paint color (you wanted to paint to a neutral white tone), super noisy garbage disposal (replace them with a new one), a dull flickering Compact Fluorescent Light bulb (CFL – with LED), etc.,

NO 3 FRONT CURB APPEAL
Most prospective buyers judge a home based on 20 or 30 seconds they take to walk from the curb to the inside of your home. If they notice weedy front yard, not mowed/trimmed yard, overgrown or un-trimmed shrubs, un-pruned tree branches, they merely walk-away without seeing the inside of the property.

Doing the above three things without investing too much money would help in preparing your home on the FOR SALE market.
